In August of 2012, Amy Carter and her husband Kelon moved to the Tahlequah area from Tulsa and opened the now-thriving downtown business, Vivid Salon and Boutique. From 2012 to 2015, Amy served on the Tahlequah Main Street Association Board of Directors and served as President in 2014 and 2015. Amy is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. She served as the Presidential Liason for 21st Century Global Network in Reno, Nevada as well as the Marketing and Website advisor for best-selling author, Mark Yarnell. Amy was also an Account Executive for the software company DBBuilder based in Seattle, Washington. As a former Realtor in Tulsa, when Amy was given the opportunity to team up with Edna Kimble, she knew it was the perfect next step.
